Nanny Ogg adds that little bit of humour, albeit mostly dirty, into the witches lives. She has lost count of her age but reckons she's in her seventies, which means she was still bearing children in her fifties. She is the only one of the three witches who has a family, however she still does spend a lot of time with Granny and Magrat.

As well as Granny and Magrat, she played a part in avenging the death of King Verence II and also played a part in overthrowing Lily Weatherwax's stranglehold on Genua.
